We are seeking a motivated Underwriter to become a key part of our North America Professional Lines team within Chubb Global Markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Goals: Underwrite new business and renewals (open market and schemes/facilities) in accordance with the business plan and within the assigned underwriting authority.
2. Portfolio Integrity: Assist in formulating underwriting strategy, forecasts, and portfolio management to maintain underwriting profitability.
3. Producer Management: Maintain relationships with customers, brokers, business partners, and colleagues to promote Chubb and achieve business objectives.
4. Team Collaboration: Participate in meetings to share and develop strategies, knowledge, and best practices.
5. Procedures: Ensure compliance with company standards regarding policy documentation, quoting timeframes, and regulatory issues.
6. Operational Management: Collaborate with Underwriting and Operations to improve operational efficiencies.
7. Brand Representation: Build and maintain a strong external reputation, embodying Chubb’s core values and culture both internally and externally.
8. Knowledge: Possess understanding of class-specific underwriting and insurance knowledge.
9. Qualifications: ACII qualified or working towards it, with ongoing development of technical and business skills.
