A leading insurance company in London seeks an Underwriter for their Medical Malpractice team. This role involves underwriting business across a global portfolio, managing relationships with clients and brokers, and ensuring compliance with strategies. Contract: 6 months fixed term contract
Following continuous and sustained growth, we have a newly created position for an Underwriter to join our Medical Malpractice team. This role will focus on underwriting new and existing business across our global MedMal portfolio, a book with a broad appetite with the ability to write on syndicate and company page. Including some binders and facilities business, this role will provide you with a broad exposure across our book.
Surrounded by supportive colleagues, our market-facing underwriters own their own book of business with exposure across complex and technical risks. We empower our underwriters to use their subject matter expertise and experience, with referrals required only where necessary.
