The Opportunity

Seeking a talented Underwriter with experience in US or International General Liability, or related fields, to join our dynamic team. This role offers extensive exposure to diverse US risks and interaction with innovative Fortune 1,000 companies.

Team Structure

• Line Underwriter leading the team
• Senior Underwriters with over 15 years of experience
• Other team members with 3-5 years of experience

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite risks according to our appetite, progressing from simpler to complex risks
• Engage in client meetings and develop broker relationships
• Support portfolio growth and position Hiscox as a market leader in US General Liability

Candidate Profile

• At least 3 years of underwriting experience in US GL market
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and decisive
• Degree or equivalent qualification

Work Environment & Culture

Office-based up to 3 days/week with US travel 1-4 times/year. We value diversity, inclusion, and flexible working arrangements.
