Camberford Underwriting is a key part of Brown & Brown UK, offering a fantastic opportunity to join our team in an important role. You will handle renewals and policy amendments daily, assisting brokers with the smooth operation of existing policies.

This role is ideal for an experienced Insurance Underwriting professional eager to work in a professional and friendly environment within a dynamic, fast-growing business that offers career development and progression opportunities.

Duties to Be Performed

• Handle renewals and mid-term amendments, including reviewing presentations, proposals, and renewals.
• Underwrite risks within authority levels and in accordance with licensing requirements.
• Use capacity appropriately and enter risk information into systems.
• Negotiate with brokers and maintain strong relationships with brokers and insurers.
• Keep relevant logs and records up to date, such as new business logs and renewal registers.
• Conduct prospecting activities as per team procedures.
• Provide high-quality advice to brokers regarding Camberford Underwriting products.
• Issue clear instructions to the Administration Team.
