Responsibilities

We are excited to announce an opening for the position of Underwriter in the D&F Property team at WRB Underwriting, Syndicate 1967. This role is integral to our team, which underwrites global Commercial Property business. We are seeking candidates with the necessary expertise to “underwrite on day one,” with an initial focus on International D&F. We require someone with solid underwriting capabilities and a firm grasp of the territories and occupancies within which we trade. The candidate must display solid administrative qualities to ensure the orderly management of a dynamic book of business. The ability to engage and build relationships with key stakeholders across the market is essential to the success of the team; this skill will facilitate a high performing book of business. The role has a broad scope, with Underwriters empowered to seek opportunities in both the open market and via delegation of Underwriting Authority. An understanding of Lineslips and Binders would be a plus for any candidate, but is not a pre-requisite.
