Pinnacle Recruitment is seeking a Planning Scheduler/Coordinator for a leading specialist in underground utilities, based in Hatfield. You will plan and coordinate resources, plant, permits, traffic management, and customer communications under client Affinity Water.

The role requires strong IT skills (Outlook/Excel), excellent organisational abilities, and a proactive, team-focused attitude. Salary £35,000–£37,000; permanent, on‑site in Hatfield.

Qualifications

• Previous Planner Scheduling/Coordinating experience.
• IT literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Flexible, reliable and a strong team player.
• Proactive can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assess and interpret the requirements of each job issued by the client.
• Plan and coordinate all aspects of live works for both connections and mains activities, including booking plant, machinery, materials, permits, and traffic management.
• Manage works from excavation through to reinstatement; include pressure testing, sampling and chlorination where required.
• Provide clear and timely communication with clients and customers; attend regular client meetings and respond to enquiries.
• Use work management systems to plan works, maintain records and communicate updates.
