Job summary

City St George’s, University of London is seeking an enthusiastic clinician-educator to lead MBBS Hepatology teaching. You will oversee, design and deliver hepatology content across the MBBS curriculum, including clinical teaching on the Canvas VLE from Year 1 through to F Year.

This role provides specialty-specific academic leadership, ensuring a coherent student learning journey and high-quality clinical teaching in hepatology.

Qualifications

• Must be a consultant or career-grade clinician in hepatology.
• Experience in undergraduate teaching and MBBS curriculum knowledge.
• Ability to lead specialty teaching and develop learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver and oversee hepatology teaching across all MBBS years (1–F).
• Act as a specialty teaching resource for MBBS teams and clinical leads.
• Maintain quality of teaching materials on the VLE and update yearly.
• Contribute to development of clinical learning outcomes and assessments.
• Review student feedback and support colleagues in teaching activities.
• Maintain teaching skills and pursue relevant medical education training.
