An established industry player is seeking Clinical Teaching Fellows to enhance Undergraduate Medical Education. Our Trust currently offers Clinical fellow posts as we recognise that posts combining time spent working clinically with protected time for professional development at an early stage in a Doctor's career are attractive. We have had Fellows undertake roles in leadership, research and teaching in their protected time, as well as others who develop a specialty interest to build a competitive CV. Previous Clinical Fellows have told us that the posts are excellent for training and career progression. Most go on to get training positions in their chosen specialty. These jobs are designed to support junior doctor’s career development whilst enabling sustainability and job satisfaction.
We now in the third year of these exciting and innovative Clinical Teaching Fellow post with a primary focus on Undergraduate Medical Education, and to support the successful candidates in obtaining a recognised teaching qualification, PGCert through the University of Sussex. The posts will be managed within the Unscheduled Care division with posts available in ED and in Acute Medicine.
