Job summary

Queens Park Rangers Football Club is seeking an enthusiastic youth coach to lead and deliver high‑quality sessions for our Under-16 Girls team. You will implement the coaching programme, tailor sessions to individual needs and support player development as they transition between age groups.

You will also plan, prepare and evaluate sessions, maintain records, and work with the Women and Girls Technical Lead to create learning plans. Match-day duties and safeguarding compliance are essential.

Qualifications

  • UEFA-C Licence is required to apply.
  • IFAIF certification is required.
  • FA Safeguarding certification and knowledge of safeguarding policies are required.
  • UEFA-B Licence is a nice to have.
  • Experience in the football industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality coaching sessions for the U16 girls, aligned to the Coaching programme and syllabus.
  • Develop players based on individual needs to support age-group transitions.
  • Manage U16 teams on match-days, coordinating with opposition, match officials and other stakeholders.
  • Plan, prepare and evaluate sessions; keep accurate records of sessions, fixtures and progress.
  • Lead on individual reviews and parent meetings; liaise with parents/guardians.

Job description

  • To assist the delivery of coaching sessions for the Under 16 Girls’ team.
  • To plan, prepare and evaluate coaching sessions in line with the Coaching programme and syllabus, as directed by the Women and Girl’s Technical Lead.
  • To keep accurate records of coaching sessions, fixtures, learning objectives, and other necessary work as required within an appropriate time frame.
  • To work collaboratively with the Women and Girl’s Technical Lead to devise individual learning plans for players and share updates regarding progress.
  • To lead on individual reviews and parents’ meetings in line with their individual learning plans.
  • To assist with the management of the U16 age-group on match-days as necessary, this includes liaising with opposition, match officials and other key stakeholders.
  • To provide a point of liaison for the relevant age group parents/guardians or player leading on communication.
What will be doing?
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality coaching sessions, mainly with our youth, under-16 age-group, aligned to our Coaching programme and syllabus. You will be expected to develop players based on their individual needs to support their transition between age groups. Whilstalsomanagingteamsonmatch-daysaspertheage-groupsfixture programme in the Junior Premier League.
