Position Details:

• Location: Kent Campus Hospital
• Status: Full Time, 80 Hours
• Shift: Days
• Salary Range: $42.92 - $66.52 per hour

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Manager, the Ultrasound Supervisor oversees daily departmental activities, provides training and support, and ensures quality control. The role involves operating ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images as requested by physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform Procedures: Conduct ultrasound exams according to protocols, ensuring patient safety and protocol adherence.
2. Personnel Management: Supervise staff, conduct performance evaluations, manage staffing schedules, and ensure policy compliance.
3. Quality Assurance: Monitor technical quality, review radiologist QA reports, and implement improvements.
4. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure equipment functionality, report issues, and maintain compliance with guidelines.
5. Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities within scope as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Certificate Program in Ultrasound
• Credential: Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Experience: At least 2 years in Ultrasound; supervisory experience preferred
