To support recruitment to this post, a 10% Recruitment and Retention premium will be applied in accordance with NHS Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions Annex 10. This is a local agreement which is temporary and will be reviewed annually.
Working hours for this role are scheduled between 08:00 and 18:00, across a seven-day service (Monday to Sunday).
We are seeking enthusiastic, skilled and compassionate Sonographers to join our expanding Diagnostic Imaging Service at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust. As one of the UK's leading specialist cancer centres, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality ultrasound services for patients undergoing cancer diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
You'll join a friendly, supportive and highly experienced multidisciplinary team where professional development, innovation and patient-centred care are at the heart of everything we do. As an autonomous practitioner in a CDC and cancer centre, you will develop and deliver a high quality specialist ultrasound service alongside our radiologists and physicists. You will be able to show evidence of participating in peer-review audit and have an excellent knowledge of current legislation and guidelines. You will ensure sound clinical governance of the service, including audit to align with our QSI accreditation.
