What You’ll Be Doing

• Inspiring Year 5 students: Plan, prepare, and deliver exciting lessons that challenge and engage Year 5 students in literacy, numeracy, and beyond.
• Supporting development: Help students build the key skills they’ll need as they approach the transition to Key Stage 2 and prepare for secondary school.
• Creating a dynamic classroom: Foster an atmosphere where learning is fun, collaborative, and inspiring, encouraging students to take ownership of their education.
• Tracking progress: Regularly assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback, setting clear goals to help each child reach their full potential.
• Teamwork: Work closely with other teachers to share ideas, best practices, and ensure the curriculum is delivered effectively and creatively.
• Communication with parents: Build strong relationships with parents, keeping them updated on their child’s progress and addressing any concerns to support students’ growth.
• Professional involvement: Engage in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school-wide activities to keep growing as an educator.

• A passionate and qualified UKS2 Teacher with experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
