The opportunity

Due to significant growth following a number of high-profile client wins, we are looking for a Corporate Tax Manager in our Manchester Office. The role offers the opportunity to work on some of the largest and most exciting clients in the market to support them navigating an increasingly complex tax environment.

Your key responsibilities:

1. Grow and maintain relationships with both existing and new clients.
2. Manage the delivery of technically complex tax compliance and reporting engagements, as well as related consulting projects.
3. Provide exceptional client service.
4. Collaborate with other tax specialist teams.
5. Supervise, coach, and mentor junior staff to support their development.
6. Lead team initiatives to ensure success.

Skills and attributes for success:

• Significant experience in corporate tax, from practice or in-house, minimum 4 years.
• Strong client relationship management skills.
• Negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Business development skills.
• Effective time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Team player with leadership abilities.
• Experience coaching and developing junior staff.
• Commitment to delivering quality work.

Qualifications required:

• ACA / CA / ACCA / CTA or equivalent qualification, with full technical training or law qualification.
