Description

We are looking for an inspiring people leader with experience in both Customer and Net New sales, working alongside a channel ecosystem, to lead a team of circa. 6-8 Mid-Market Install Base Representatives and Direct Sales Managers.

The ApplicationsMidMarket Sales Manager’s primary responsibilities will be to implement our sales focused go-to-market strategy, while at the same time delivering expected levels of revenue performance and ensuring customers’ success. In addition, theApplications MidMarket Sales Managermust lead, drive and inspire the change management necessary for the team to be successful in the go-to-market setup.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead an integrated team of Mid-Market Install Base and Net New Representatives across the UKI region.
  • Work very closely with our Channel team to help drive pipeline and sales management Support and enable your team to successfully transition into a new go-to-market setup by leading by example through the change journey
  • Enable your team to achieve / exceed revenue objectives
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with C-levels of top customers and external partners
  • Actively participate in key deals, strategy, and execution to ensure success of your customers and your partners
  • Manage team performance, including pipeline, account penetration, territories and activity levels
  • Establish and maintain sales management processes, including forecast reviews; actively support corporate policies and initiatives.
  • Establish and manage cross-functional processes, services, solution consulting, customer success, finance, legal, marketing, Channel, etc.
  • Create and manage short term and long-term business plans

People Management

  • Actively recruit when needed, highly qualified team members, quickly get them ready to contribute effectively to Oracle and the wider ecosystem.
  • Drive a team culture based on customer centricity that delivers on every commitment, every time.
  • Motivate team members and encourage individual career development.
  • Facilitate the success of the team and individuals through coaching and counselling and performance management.
  • Proactively manage, develop and recruit to have a sustainable and predictable business with clear succession plans in place.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in First Line Sales management mandatory.
  • Experience in SaaS sales, other Cloud solutions or consulting services to a C-level customer group.
  • A deep understanding of ERP and EPM at a minimum with an understanding of CX and Supply Chain
  • Knowledge of and experience working in collaboration with channel partners.
  • An understanding of key industry verticals such as Finance, Consumer or Manufacturing
  • Proven leadership ability and experience in managing a team through an organizational and cultural change.
  • Track record of ability to build creditability and relationships at the C-Level of customers and partners.
  • Experience working in an international matrix organization.
  • Comfortable working in an organization based on trust and openness – being empowered to speak up and every day try to improve how we work and how we put customers first.
  • Fluency inEnglish is mandatory.
