UK Warehouse Lead

Reporting to the Operations Director, the UK Warehouse Lead will be responsible for all warehouse and stock activities across CHH’s Birmingham and Chesterfield sites. Responsibilities include site audits, compliance reporting, and performance analysis. Additional duties include:

1. Analyze and optimize processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
2. Oversee warehouse operations to meet operational and customer demands.
3. Plan and approve schedules.
4. Establish and enforce policies.
5. Negotiate with vendors and contractors.
6. Identify system improvements and recommend changes.
7. Produce reports and statistics regularly.
8. Assist in planning future capacity requirements.

Essential skills and attributes

• Operational experience in a warehouse environment, not just Lean practices.
• Line management experience with a record of developing team members.
• IT literate, especially in spreadsheets, databases, and warehouse systems.
• Understanding of customer deliverables and the costs of failure or poor quality.
• Good planning skills with the ability to meet targets and deadlines.
