Warehouse Assistant

As the Warehouse Assistant, you will deliver a high quality and cost-effective level of service to both internal and external customers. You will ensure a proactive, accurate, and professional approach to inbound, receipt, fulfilment, storage, dispatch, delivery, and record keeping of products.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all POs are receipted, and orders are fulfilled and dispatched correctly, working to KPIs and SLAs to meet customer expectations.
• File all documentation related to PO receipt and sales order fulfilment correctly.
• Be the final checkpoint, ensuring goods are dispatched cost-effectively while meeting client expectations and on-time delivery.
• Build strong internal relationships and maintain effective communication channels.
• Ensure safe and efficient throughput of products within the warehouse, including space allocation, unloading, and loading.
• Cover other team members during leave and sickness.
• Perform any other duties as required by management.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will:

• Have warehouse experience.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with good attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively and build relationships with internal and external clients.
• Work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage workload.
• Know when to escalate issues appropriately.
• Be flexible with working hours.
• Enjoy manual, hands-on work.
• Possess a full clean UK driving license.

This role involves physical work in a warehouse, with exposure to moderate noise levels. It requires standing, stooping, walking, sitting for long periods, and lifting objects up to 30 kilos.

• Undertaken Health and Safety training.
• Experience with international shipments and logistics is preferred.
