A leading life sciences company is seeking a Service Manager for its Watford location. The role involves overseeing instrument and workshop service operations while ensuring high customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Candidates should have substantial service management experience, particularly in the medical devices sector, along with strong financial acumen and leadership skills to drive staff performance and process improvements.
Overview
The role requires hybrid working, with 3 days in the office.
Responsible, through a European reporting structure within service, for delivering activities supporting the installation, modification, and repair of customer instruments, carried out on customer sites and workshops, as well as providing customer technical support for all Bio-Rad products. The role involves working within the escalation process back to the Specialist Manager Europe. A key aspect of this role is developing the local service and customer service staff, ensuring both service revenue and operational expenses are optimized to meet set BP targets.
