About the role

We are looking for an exceptional UK Senior Retail Operations Manager to join our team! The Senior Retail Operations Manager is responsible for leading the UK Operations team, with ultimate responsibility for ensuring our physical stores are optimised operationally to enable strong sales performance, team and customer safety and to protect the Charlotte Tilbury brand.

The Senior Retail Operations Manager will support the Retail Director, to support the regional team in having the tools they require to drive sales and customer experiences, and help to nurture robust ways of working for the overall Field and Retail teams. You will also support on team engagement by driving continuous efficiencies.

You are the owner of the overall UK Operations and Technology strategy, and will take a pioneering and entrepreneurial approach to ensure our physical stores get ahead, and stay ahead of the competition, whilst working closely with the CT.com team to ensure physical stores achieve the same standard of technological beauty retail firsts.

You will deliver world class brand standards and a seamless journey for our customers and team alike, whilst protecting them and the brand! Please note, this role will require travel across the UK.

As our UK Senior Operations Manager you will

  • Lead on all omnichannel retail impacting projects relating to operational efficiency, retail excellence and customer experience, enabling successful cross functional project team collaboration, delivering successful projects to a defined set of KPIs.
  • Build an operational and tech strategy that supports the goals of the overall business and UK/PP strategy. Alongside building business cases for projects for approval and sign off & define project KPIS.
  • Be the UK lead of the retail communication channels strategy of what, why, when and how to ensure a seamless communication strategy for all retail and field teams.
  • Effective and efficient budget management, continually reviewing external contracts for cost efficiencies via existing and new contracts inline with forecasts and business needs.
  • Owner of the forecast and budget cycle to ensure Retail Ops budget delivers to the target and oversee the vendor management and approval process.
  • Collaborate with Global Health and Safety on the UK strategy to ensure our procedures and processes are in line with latest Government and Industry guidance.
  • Identify the gaps within our stores to ensure we are protecting our people at all times and lead on the management of UK mandatory training compliance across Field and Retail.
  • Identify and develop strategies inline with identified opportunities for operational excellence and ways of working across the retail and field team.
  • Develop and implement industry leading creative solutions including productive technology solutions ensuring effective operation instore and head office to delivery our sales forecast across the UK.
  • Lead on the expectations and evolution of strategy for instore standards of maintenance for VM & Store Design across the UK estate.
  • Lead and build the Retail Operations function to be the go-to department for operational excellence and setting the global standard.
  • Develop the retail operations executive in personal and professional development.

Who you will work with

  • You will report directly into our wonderful Retail Director, UK.
  • You will work closely with the Head of Retail Sales, Commercial, Marketing and Store Design teams across our UK function to excellently execute refits, new stores and ongoing maintenance.

About you

  • You have a strong, demonstrable background within Operations within the beauty or fashion industry.
  • You have experience executing store projects, with a good knowledge of fixture technical drawings.
  • You have excellent communication skills, you are a strong collaborator and can build strong, trusted relationships with ease, both internally and with retailers, with experience in supplier management.
  • You have experience manging budgets and PO raising.
  • You work well under pressure, you can ruthlessly prioritise and know how to influence up and work in an agile environment with ease.
  • Have a flexible and professional attitude, you are hungry to learn and welcome challenge!
  • Have exceptional organisational and prioritising skills, with great attention to detail and is results-driven.
  • Please note, this role will require travel across the UK.
