This is a full-time, permanent opportunity paying £50-60,000 d.o.e working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based across our UK network.

Purpose of the role

As UK Security Manager, you will act as a subject matter expert in all areas of physical security, loss prevention, risk management, and investigations across our UK operations. This role is critical to protecting our people, assets, facilities, and information, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and pharmaceutical regulations, including GDP and GMP.

You will lead the strategic and operational delivery of security across all Movianto sites, working closely with Facilities, Operations, Quality Management and Responsible Persons (RPs) to uphold a safe and secure environment.

How you'll make an impact as UK Security Manager at Movianto:

  • Develop and implement security policies, protocols and emergency response procedures
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and maintain a proactive approach to threat intelligence
  • Manage the day-to-day performance of our contracted security guard force
  • Ensure the ongoing effectiveness of all physical security systems including CCTV, alarms, and access control
  • Lead incident response activity, investigations and engagement with external authorities as required
  • Maintain accurate records of all incidents and produce regular reports for senior stakeholders
  • Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation and security regulations
  • Build strong communication channels across departments to foster a culture of safety and accountability

What it will take to thrive as UK Security Manager at Movianto:

  • Recognised qualifications in security management or a related field
  • At least 3 years' experience in a senior security role, with proven leadership of teams and operations
  • Strong knowledge of physical security systems and current best practices
  • Excellent decision-making skills, especially under pressure

  • Strong analytical skills with a solutions-focused mindset
