UK Sales Support (MUST be located in Edinburgh or Glasgow)

Location: Scotland (Edinburgh or Glasgow)
Primary requirement: A candidate with an interest in technology and who likes people to help support our UK Sales Director in sales activities, coordination, lead generation, follow-up on sales and reporting.
What we are looking for:
- Capable to work independently with excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Sales-minded with experience in back-office sales/client support, administrative duties, etc.
- An individual with a sales track record associated with technology is a big advantage but at minimum you should be an intelligent, hard worker who gets along with people and who has an interest to learn a technology
- Strong analytical and communication skills, detail-oriented and delivery-focused
- Experience in customer service and customer satisfaction
- Excellent networking skills with a proven ability to develop long-lasting relationships with customers, stakeholders, and even government officials
- A strong interest to learn new technologies
- Fluent in English (Spanish fluency a big advantage)
Responsibilities:
- Participate in development and implementation of sales strategy, plans and processes in UK&IE and as secondary in EU
- Actively take part in sales and marketing activities researching new sales verticals and potential customers
- Support customers with basic tech issues and questions around PTT and expanding to other technologies over time. Vetting the technical need before possibly escalating further (Note: PTT = Push To Talk, please see web site)
- Run certain back-office activities related to sales, such as preparation of quotes, proposals and pro-forma invoices, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Be a trusted contact to the Finance team located in other countries for now and know the local stock levels
- Credit Control Duties in UK - credit checking potential customers, chasing unpaid invoices, sending monthly statements etc.
- Work closely with our field teams and reseller partners with a positive attitude
Other duties:
- Project coordination and assisting CFO & PTT CTO in the R&D project, i.e. helping with reporting and follow-up (Note: PTT = Push To Talk, please see web site)
- Coordinating global field testing related to the project
- Act as “Office Manager” as the operations grow in Scotland
- Additional duties may arise over time as the company grows
- According to the instruction and supervision of the employer as the employer requests
