Our client is a global leader in the manufacturing and supply of high quality packaging solutions, specialising in flexible packaging materials and pouches, dedicated to improving sustainability and innovation within the industry. Their diverse portfolio includes products for the food, medical, and other specialised markets. They pride themselves on commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and environmental stewardship.

They are now looking to recruit a dynamic and results driven Sales Executive to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and managing key accounts selling into the medical and food industry.

Covering: England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland with occasional travel to Italy for meetings but the focusing on local markets.

This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the flexible packaging industry, particularly pouches.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
  2. Maintain and develop existing customers
  3. Identify and map customers' flexible packaging needs
  4. Maintain and develop sales pipeline
  5. Prepare and negotiate offers and contracts, and manage sales price adjustments
  6. Increase market awareness of the group's total product portfolio
  7. Plan budgets, sales volume, values, product mix, and time scales
  8. Achieve sales targets and drive business growth with a proven track record
  9. Possess a strong understanding of the packaging market, with specific knowledge of pouches being highly desirable
  10. Exhibit excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  11. Work independently and manage time effectively
