Job summary

European Energy UK seeks a Renewable Energy Asset Manager to oversee the daily operation of our UK portfolios of solar and wind assets. You will perform performance analysis, generate reporting, and collaborate with O&M, EPC, and development teams to optimize asset value.

The role requires 2+ years in renewables, familiarity with UK safety standards, contract management experience, and strong data analysis skills. Office-based in Glasgow with a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or similar.
• 2+ years’ work experience in renewable energy with PV plant operations knowledge.
• Knowledge of UK health and safety regs (CDM, IOSH, NEBOSH).
• Experience with OFGEM and BEIS platforms.
• Experience reviewing contracts and contract management.
• Strong MS Office 365 and data analysis skills.
• Professional level English speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of UK renewable assets (PV and wind).
• Perform performance analysis and regular reporting.
• Collaborate with O&M, EPC, and Commercial Asset Management to optimize operations.
• Manage OPEX budget and drive data-driven KPI improvements.
• Coordinate with service providers and stakeholders for safe, compliant operations.
• Build strong relationships with customers, regulators, lenders, and local communities.
