Job Summary:

The UK Professional Services Team Leader role encompasses comprehensive responsibility for project leadership and delivery. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and motivational leader, capable of thriving in a high-intensity, high-demand environment while remaining focused on achieving agreed objectives and managing defined KPIs.

In this role, you will be instrumental in building on our existing foundations and growing a high-performing Services Team. You will be responsible for fostering a team capable of operating across the breadth of our product lines within the division. Additionally, you will facilitate the development of product and consulting skills across the team, ensuring continuous improvement and excellence in service delivery.

Working directly with the UK Team Leaders, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives and execute the revenue and associated targets for the Division. Your leadership will be crucial in achieving our strategic goals and maintaining our commitment to high standards and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze project profitability, revenue, bill rates, and utilization. Understand revenue models, P&L, and cost-to-complete projections, making informed decisions accordingly. Accurately forecast revenue and utilization for UK projects. Determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and monitor receivables for direct reports’ projects. Minimize AssetWorks’ exposure and risk on projects. Understand AssetWorks’ pricing model and billing procedures. Monitor and update forecasts for direct reports. Identify areas for improvement in internal processes and propose viable solutions. Submit time and expense reports conscientiously and promptly. Enforce standard policies and procedures consistently.
  2. Supervise the day-to-day activities of direct reports to ensure successful project delivery. Identify resource needs and assign responsibilities. Monitor utilization and adjust as necessary. Track and approve team hours and expenses weekly. Evaluate performance and provide coaching. Ensure adherence to project standards and AssetWorks’ methodology. Review deliverables before client submission. Follow up with clients on issues. Create and execute work plans, revising as needed. Manage operational aspects of projects, ensuring scope and objectives are met. Ensure documentation is complete and stored properly.
  3. Oversee operational aspects of projects, ensuring adherence to scope and standards. Conduct project and product orientation sessions. Lead requirements definition, fit/gap analysis, and business process assessment workshops. Consult with customers on system setup and configuration. Prepare and execute test plans. Prepare training materials and deliver training. Support go-live activities.
  4. Conduct regular status meetings with direct reports. Communicate project updates to stakeholders and other departments. Deliver presentations to ensure clarity. Communicate sensitively and maintain positive relationships.
  5. Identify business development opportunities related to projects. Assist with proposals, including SOW development and LOE assessments. Articulate AssetWorks’ value proposition effectively in discussions.
  6. Foster a positive team environment, recognizing contributions. Collaborate with UK Team Leads. Use team members’ strengths effectively. Motivate the team. Share lessons learned and best practices. Address conflicts promptly.
