About the Role

Acumatica is seeking a UK-based Presales Engineer to enhance partner sales productivity and deal flow by demonstrating ERP solutions to customers and prospects. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and partners to deliver tailored demonstrations, qualification, and discovery meetings that meet customer needs and involve key technical decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Product Expertise: Develop specialization in ERP solutions for specific vertical markets such as construction, wholesale distribution, retail, manufacturing, or professional services.
  2. Discovery and Planning: Gather operational information to identify how to improve processes and streamline business operations.
  3. Product Demonstrations: Prepare and deliver engaging demos that showcase how Acumatica software meets business goals.
  4. Partner Enablement: Assist new partners in learning the software, conducting discovery, and delivering demos.
  5. Partner Training: Create discovery guides, presentations, and videos to ensure consistent messaging.
  6. Thought Leadership: Contribute to webinars, white papers, training sessions, and blogs to position Acumatica as an industry leader.
  7. Sales Support: Support sales teams and partners in closing deals through demonstrations and answering queries.
Qualifications
  • Understanding of mid-sized business operations related to sales, shipping, invoicing, and reporting.
  • Experience demonstrating business management software solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience speaking publicly and instructing groups.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business; MBA or CPA is a plus.
  • ERP & CRM implementation experience is advantageous.
  • Channel sales experience and technical background are beneficial.
