Job description

A rare opportunity has arisen working for a professional services company as their UK Payroll Manager. This role will be fully responsible for overseeing the UK payroll processing and the UK payroll team.


Reporting into senior management, the UK Payroll Manager will be responsible for the following:


  1. Overseeing a full start to finish payroll for c1500 monthly paid employees
  2. Ensuring all statutory deductions are made accurately and on time, including SMP, SSP, SPP, N.I & PAYE
  3. HMRC submissions
  4. Year end- including P60s & P11Ds
  5. Producing P45s and P46s
  6. Providing strategic insight to other business members on payroll related legislation changes
  7. Stakeholder management
  8. Management of the UK payroll team - training, mentoring & developing

This role requires candidates to have exemplary UK payroll knowledge, coupled with previous staff management experience.
