Job summary

Knight Frank is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead the UK payroll for 3,000+ staff across seven pay groups. You will drive accuracy, compliance and timely delivery, while partnering with Finance, HR and external providers to optimise processes.

The role requires strong leadership, UK payroll knowledge and experience with SAP and Workday, ensuring excellent employee experience and reporting for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant payroll leadership experience in a medium-to-large corporate environment (UK).
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, tax, pensions and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing and developing high-performing payroll teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the UK monthly payroll for 3,000+ employees across 7 pay groups, ensuring on-time, accurate payments.
• Lead payroll processing, reconciliations, HMRC returns and auto-enrolment activities.
• Drive payroll system enhancements and continuous improvement with SAP and Workday.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, external providers, and regulators.
• Deliver high-quality payroll reporting and analytics to senior leadership.
• Provide leadership and development for a team of five payroll specialists.
