Job summary

Office Angels is recruiting a Payroll Auditor for our client in London. The role focuses on payroll validation, audit processes and continuous improvement to ensure accurate, compliant payroll across the business.

The candidate will work with UK payroll legislation, HR/payroll systems (Workday/ADP), and advanced Excel to analyze data, resolve issues, and support system implementations and go-live activities.

Qualifications

• Experience with Workday and other payroll systems (ADP, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation (PAYE, NI, statutory payments, reporting).
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end payroll validation, including pre- and post-payroll audits and reconciliations.
• Analyse payroll data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Act as SME for payroll systems, supporting issue resolution and data integrity.
• Support payroll-related projects and UAT/go-live activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies, mitigating payroll risks.
