Job Description:

This role is responsible for specialist payroll support in the delivery of UK and Crown Dependency payrolls. It involves managing payroll activities such as running gross to net calculations, supporting change projects, and administering legislative documentation like P60 and P11D. The role also includes managing escalations for the tier 2 payroll team and providing guidance to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing payroll for various employee types, including tax calculations and contributions.
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records and troubleshooting payroll issues.
  • Providing guidance to employees on payroll-related queries.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory filings and liaising with tax authorities.
  • Leading and supporting team members, fostering professional development, and ensuring high standards of work.
  • Partnering with other functions and managing risks and controls within the payroll process.
