Operations Manager - Liverpool (with UK travel)

The Organisation

A long-established leader in marine and environmental services, employing over 800 staff nationwide. The business provides services ranging from terminal operations to subsea projects and offers employees stability, development, and clear career progression.

The Role

Based in Liverpool and requiring travel across the UK, the Operations Manager will oversee multiple terminals and ensure the effective delivery of operational contracts. This includes maintaining high standards of safety and compliance, meeting performance and financial targets, and supporting long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-site operational teams, driving engagement, development, and accountability.
  • Ensure consistent service delivery, safety, and client satisfaction across all sites.
  • Build strong client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and expand services.
  • Support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile

Required qualifications include:

  • Level 5+ qualification in Operations, Business, or Engineering.
  • Health & Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate).
  • Experience in terminal operations and multi-site leadership.
  • Strong record of achieving strategic goals through operations.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
