Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals seeks a Pricing & Market Access Associate Director to support development of Market Access strategies for products and indications, collaborating across Commercial and Development teams in the UK&I.

You will help prepare HTA submissions, lead payer negotiations, and shape access strategies with HEOR and cross-functional partners, ensuring payer positions are aligned with commercialization plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; HTA submissions experience preferred.
• Typically requires 8 years of experience or equivalent mix of education/experience.
• Experience contributing to HTA submissions and successful reimbursement outcomes with NICE/NHSE and UK/Irish payers.

Responsibilities

• Supports development of core pricing & access deliverables within the global commercial model (NICE submissions, evidence packages, HTA deliverables).
• Supports development of Market Access strategies reporting to Senior Director for Market Access (UK & Ireland).
• Supports payer negotiation for Vertex's products and ensures payer positions are represented to internal stakeholders.
• Contributes to pricing & access strategy localization, pricing business cases, and cross-functional commercialization decisions.
• Keeps abreast of external access developments and works with access consultants as needed.
