You will lead cross‑functional teams across engineering, SRE, product, and controls to deliver resilient systems and an AI‑powered monitoring tool for intelligent event enrichment and root cause analysis.

The role emphasizes backend‑dominant Java with the opportunity to influence UI modernization, data migration, and multi‑region scalability.

Qualifications

• Significant professional software engineering experience, including leading cross‑team initiatives (Lead level).
• Hands‑on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability for distributed systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Java and building microservices with Spring Boot, strong system design expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration from a legacy monolith to a modern, containerized microservices architecture (Java/Spring Boot).
• Architect for high scalability, reliability, and availability with multi‑AZ/region patterns and autoscaling.
• Deliver features end‑to‑end, build backend services and APIs (REST/GraphQL) and contribute to UI experiences as needed.
• Design and implement event‑driven systems and streaming workflows (Kafka).
• Drive performance, resiliency, and scalability improvements for firmwide alerting and event routing, with SLOs/SLIs.
