Job Description:

Description: The UK & Ireland Head of Procurement & Heathrow H7 Lead Procurement Manager will report to the UK & Ireland Commercial Director and manage procurement and supply chain processes for Heathrow H7 projects, ensuring compliance and implementing strategy across all UK & Ireland projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the procurement team across Heathrow H7 projects.
  • Ensure compliant onboarding of suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Conduct tendering and prepare purchase orders.
  • Maintain supplier performance dashboards and monitor purchase order progress.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and assess price comparisons using INSITE system.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to company procedures.
  • Develop procurement strategies, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Mentor and review procurement staff performance.
  • Coordinate with various internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Support tendering, risk management, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Produce reports and dashboards, including Power BI.

Skills and Competence:

  • Previous procurement lead experience and CIPS Level 4 or higher qualification.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of NEC contracts and general procurement terms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Power BI, and documentation systems.
  • Ability to manage teams and collaborate effectively.

Dedication: The role involves 85/15% or 80/20% split between project duties and wider UK & Ireland responsibilities, with regular travel to Head Office and other projects.
