Job summary

IG Group, a FTSE 100 fintech, seeks an Investment Operations Assistant Manager in London. The role sits hybrid with 3 days in the office, supporting day-to-day share dealing operations, ISA/SIPP processes, and regulatory reporting. You will contribute to process improvements and partner with Compliance, Risk, Finance and Dealing teams.

Ideal candidates have strong English, Excel skills, and a solid operational background in fintech or wealth management with a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Essential experience in an operational or customer-facing role.
• Understanding of UK share dealing environment and retail investing.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Strong control mindset with experience in first line controls and audits.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail with data interpretation.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data/reporting tools.
• Clear written and spoken English; able to explain topics to non-specialists.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day operations: support the daily running of share dealing and investment operations.
• Support processing of corporate actions and monitoring client incentives and payments.
• Data analysis on client incentives and performance; maintain procedures and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to automate or simplify processes; ensure system changes are well-specified and tested.
• Support ISA/SIPP reporting and regulatory reporting; prepare MI for the ISA committee.
• Act as operational expert with client experience teams; handle complex queries and escalation.
