For our UK Investment Banking division in London, we are looking to hire a Senior Associate.

Your role in the team:

After some exciting client wins, our UK Investment Banking team is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our successful Metals & Mining sector team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in corporate finance or investment banking, or be a high-calibre ACA professional looking to change careers. Sector experience is required.

What will you do?

• Work with the wider team on ECM, M&A, and advisory mandates for new and existing clients.
• Prepare and review pitch books and strategic presentation materials for company boards.
• Undertake detailed sector research and monitor mining sector news (equity market activity, company performance, strategic activity, and newsflow).
• Conduct financial modeling and sensitivity analysis as required.
• Attend meetings and calls with mandated and potential clients, strategic investors, and private equity.

Who are we looking for?

• Degree educated.
• For ACA candidates, previous experience in Banking & Capital Markets, Valuations, Advisory, Transaction Services departments, or similar is highly advantageous.
• Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Highly motivated with a strong desire to work in the Metals & Mining sector.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills.
