Job summary

Suntory Global Spirits is recruiting an Environmental & Sustainability Manager to lead UK&I sustainability across Scotch, Irish and Gin operations. The role oversees EMS, supports ISO14001:2026 accreditation, and drives energy, water and carbon reduction initiatives.

You will partner with OU engineering, operations and external bodies to advance the Proof Positive agenda. The position is based in Scotland (Glasgow area) with some travel to UK&I sites, and requires strong collaboration across

Qualifications

• BS in Environmental/Chemical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in spirits or FMCG.
• Experience delivering EMS to ISO 14001:2026 and strong IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as sustainability SME on best practices to manage compliance and reduce energy, water, and waste.
• Identify and deliver Energy and Water optimization, Carbon reduction, and waste initiatives.
• Coordinate the global Sustainability CoE for consistent approach and reporting.
• Track KPIs for energy, carbon, water, packaging, and waste across sites.
• Own EMS for UK&I operations and support ISO14001:2026 audits.
• Collaborate with external bodies and internal stakeholders on sustainability strategy.
