Job summary

Oryx Executive Search Ltd is seeking a Managing Director for the UK&I operation of a long-established European tool and equipment manufacturer. The MD will drive P&L, refine the commercial strategy, and lead sales and account management across key dealers, specialist merchants and hire groups from the Hertford area with occasional travel to Europe.

Qualifications

• Senior or executive track in sales leadership (MD/Director/GM).
• Proven success selling technical B2B products to professional trades.
• Hands-on leader who coaches field teams and turns data into plans.
• Credible, pragmatic and able to challenge the status quo.

Responsibilities

• Lead relationships with key dealers, specialists and hire groups with account roadmaps.
• Close collaboration with Sales Manager to coach and grow Area Sales Representatives.
• Identify opportunities to broaden the product portfolio in UK&I.
• Champion CRM, data and social media to maximise outcomes.
• Bridge UK&I and European HQ in Europe-wide forums.
