Job summary

Gallagher is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive UK growth for eShepherd, a cutting-edge livestock technology. You’ll identify opportunities, build a robust pipeline and convert prospects into customers across the UK and Europe.

You’ll work with producers, distributors and partners, manage consultative sales conversations, negotiate deals and represent eShepherd at events. Travel across the region will be required.

Qualifications

• Proven success in business development and sales growth.
• Strong ability to identify opportunities and build a pipeline.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Experience in agriculture, livestock, rural or AgTech is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target and convert new business opportunities across the UK and Europe.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
• Develop trusted relationships with farmers, producers, partners and distributors.
• Understand customer challenges and demonstrate commercial and operational benefits of eShepherd.
• Deliver consultative, solution-based sales conversations tailored to farming operations.
• Negotiate proposals, agreements and commercial outcomes.
• Represent eShepherd at industry events, field days, conferences and customer demonstrations.
• Monitor market trends, customer feedback and competitor activity.
• Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting and CRM data.
• Work with Customer Success, Marketing and Product teams to support adoption and growth.
