Job summary

LemFi is seeking an experienced UK Entity Controller to own the monthly, quarterly and year-end close for FCA‑authorised entities, including an EMI and consumer credit business. You will lead a small team and ensure robust accounting for credit, safeguarding, and multi‑currency transactions in a fast‑growing fintech environment.

With 10+ years post‑qualification, ACA/ACCA/CIMA, and strong IFRS/FRS102 knowledge, you’ll drive audit readiness and scalable reporting while partnering with FP&A, Tax,

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 10+ years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in lending or consumer credit accounting including IFRS 9 ECL.
• Experience working in an FCA-regulated firm such as EMI, payment institution, bank or lender.
• Strong FRS 102 and IFRS knowledge with clean statutory audits.
• Proven ability to lead a small accounting team and collaborate with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Own the UK close, delivering monthly, quarterly and year-end close for UK entities.
• Prepare and file FRS 102 statutory accounts and coordinate with auditors.
• Build and own credit accounting for consumer credit, including IFRS 9 ECL and loan book accounting.
• Ensure safeguarding and multi-currency transaction accounting are accurate and auditable.
• Lead process documentation, internal controls, and scalable reporting with Finance Systems.
