Job description
The Role

As an Employment Tax Manager, you'll be a key advisor to clients on complex UK employment tax matters, including PAYE, NIC, benefits in kind, IR35, and HMRC compliance. You'll manage a diverse portfolio, lead client engagements, and mentor junior colleagues, all while contributing to business development and service innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead employment tax advisory and compliance projects
  • Act as the primary contact for clients, building trusted relationships
  • Provide IR35 guidance and manage employment status assessments
  • Oversee project delivery, finances, and scope management
  • Support and coach junior team members
  • Identify opportunities for growth and cross-service collaboration
About You
  • Strong technical expertise in UK employment tax
  • Proven experience advising on IR35 and managing compliance risks
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Commercially aware with a track record of portfolio growth
  • ATT and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent) preferred
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior staff
