Position Summary

Crawford TPA is our highly successful Third Party Administration offering, handling claims for corporate companies and Insurers. We’re looking for our next team leader to support and manage our rapidly expanding team of claims handlers.

General Background, Experience & Professional Qualifications

We’re looking for a talented leader: a candidate that enjoys mentoring and developing a team to ensure high performance and success. You’ll ideally have/be:

  • An experienced team leader from a Claims background, although those with experience in the insurance industry are very welcome to apply
  • Evidence of mentoring and developing teams to a high performance standard
  • Knowledge of the principles of insurance and claims process
  • Exceptional customer service ethics – ensuring clients and policyholders receive first-class service from your team
  • The ability to deal with challenges and setbacks, resolving issues calmly and methodically
  • Strong organisational skills, coupled with attention to detail
  • Flexibility in your approach to changing priorities

Key Responsibilities

Your team will handle a wide variety of liability claims including Public, Employers, and Product Liability claims.

Your skills and experience as a team manager will support and guide your team in providing swift settlements within expected service level agreements, whilst ensuring each claim has been fully investigated with a full audit of claim-specific information. You’ll also guide and train your team on policy cover information, such as liability and excess cover, and ensure this information is relayed to policyholders professionally and courteously.
