Job Description:

Duties:

• Manage sub-contractor’s account in accordance with their terms and conditions to meet project demands and timeframes.
• Visit site to review work completed, quality, and cost management.
• Attend office/Hybrid working and international visits as required.
• Procure, manage, coordinate, and quality control all relevant MEP parties ensuring compliance with G3 Standards throughout the project.
• Establish MEP procurement and packaging strategies aligned with building fabric elements.
• Complete MEP procurement programme integrated into the overall project schedule.
• Prepare MEP tender documents including scopes, interface documents, design responsibility matrices, and builders work matrix.
• Ensure timely issuance and auditing of MEP designs for compliance, build-ability, and commission-ability.
• Assist the Design Manager with technical advice, producing, agreeing, and managing a realistic design programme and information schedule.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks in the procurement strategy.
• Complete risk schedules related to design issues and sub-contractor non-compliance.
• Perform financial and technical assessments of sub-contractor tenders.

Qualifications Required:

• HND or Degree level education
• Experience in the construction industry
• Member of a Professional Body, progressing to Chartered status

Experience required:

• Negotiation skills, experience in confirming, agreeing, and pricing variations
• Knowledge of construction contracts, particularly NEC3/4
