Job summary

WR Engineering is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business and grow customer accounts across the UK for compressors. You will identify opportunities, engage with end users and OEMs, and coordinate with engineering to offer engineered compressor solutions.

Travel nationwide is required, with a base salary up to 55,000 DOE plus a company car and benefits. The role focuses on high-pressure air and gas compressor applications across industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Compressor sales experience essential.
• Proven track record in BD/technical sales or account management.
• Strong technical understanding and ability to discuss customer requirements.
• Willingness to travel throughout the UK.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities across the UK.
• Develop relationships with end users, OEMs and key decision-makers.
• Understand customer applications and work with engineering teams to propose compressor solutions.
• Manage the sales process from enquiry through quotation, negotiation and order.
• Grow existing accounts while maintaining an active pipeline of new opportunities.
