Job summary

Mercury Hampton Ltd. is seeking a Compressor Service Engineer to join a field-based team covering local and regional customer sites in the Shropshire area.

The role focuses on servicing, fault finding, and preventative maintenance on industrial compressed air systems, with overtime and call-out payments enhancing earnings. The successful engineer will hold an engineering qualification and a proven ability to fault-find both mechanically and electrically, with a full UK driving licence and strong

Qualifications

• Engineering background with mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience servicing, maintaining or repairing industrial equipment.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Engineering qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, fault finding, breakdown attendance and preventative maintenance on compressed air equipment and systems.
• Diagnose issues, recommend improvements and ensure equipment operates efficiently and reliably.
• Complete detailed service reports and remedial work recommendations.
• Provide first-class technical support and liaise with customers on site.
