About the Role
Aardvark Swift is working in partnership with a legendary studio celebrated for delivering genre-defining games. We're seeking a UK Communications Manager to lead strategic, influencer-led PR and media initiatives that elevate the studio’s titles and keep them at the centre of digital and cultural conversations.

Based in Richmond, this full-time role offers the chance to work closely with international teams while owning the UK communications strategy. You’ll be responsible for media relations, influencer campaigns, and community engagement, shaping how games are perceived across both traditional and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an influencer-first PR strategy to drive reach, engagement, and impact

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with content creators, streamers, and games media

  • Lead UK-based content partnerships, including exclusive previews, collaborations, and sponsorships

  • Drive awareness around game launches through digital campaigns and creator activations

  • Oversee media relations and secure coverage across gaming, tech, and mainstream press

  • Coordinate live events, in-person activations, and online experiences to maximise community engagement

  • Track campaign performance, using data and insights to refine tactics and strategy

  • Manage crisis communications and protect brand reputation during high-stakes moments

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in communications, PR, or influencer marketing (ideally within gaming or entertainment)

  • Existing relationships with creators, influencers, and games media

  • Deep understanding of digital platforms including YouTube, Twitch, and emerging social trends

  • Strong storytelling, copywriting, and campaign development skills

  • Awareness of audience behaviour and evolving influencer culture

  • Skilled in partnership-building and confident in high-level negotiations

  • A passion for games, digital content, and online community culture

  • Experience managing reputation and crisis communications

Desirable Qualifications

  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or related field

  • Previous experience working in games, entertainment, or influencer-focused roles
