Job summary

Cts Group is seeking a commercially driven Commercial Lead to oversee the UK operations from London, with frequent trips to project sites.

The role leads UK commercial strategy, bids, contract governance and client engagement across major data centre, infrastructure and mission-critical projects, delivering profitable growth. You'll build and lead the commercial team, partner with senior executives, shape contracting and risk management practices across the business.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Extensive senior commercial leadership experience in construction, infrastructure, data centres, or large-scale projects.
• Proven track record driving growth, securing opportunities, and delivering strong commercial performance.
• Experience leading commercial teams and managing complex contracts.
• Strong understanding of UK construction contracts, procurement routes and commercial best practices.
• Experience in contract negotiation, risk management and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the UK commercial strategy and governance.
• Drive revenue, profitability, and market expansion through commercial initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, consultants, and industry stakeholders.
• Lead bids, proposals, negotiations, and major project tenders.
• Oversee pricing, procurement strategies, and contract governance.
• Monitor performance, forecast, cost control and margin protection.
• Develop and mentor the commercial team across the UK.
