Much of our fan love and authentic connection with our communities are rooted in being rebels with a cause. From ensuring we use high quality, sustainable ingredients to elevating restaurant technology in ways that haven’t been done before…we will continue to be inclusive, bold, challenge the status quo and push industry boundaries.

And all of that comes with fun, year‑round events like holiday and cultural festivities, development opportunities you can take advantage of from anywhere you are, and random recharge days – just to name a few. We truly believe that where you work matters and taking care of our employees matters as much to us as taking care of our fans.

About The Job

We are looking for a marketing rock star, who has a unique combination of strong creative thinking and a commercial mindset, with a restless drive to grow brand awareness.

We need someone who loves tacos, has a real passion for marketing and delivering winning results. We are seeking a broad leader with a growth mindset to pave the future for Taco Bell.

You will report directly to our UK Head of Marketing who will champion and coach you to success.

We also need people comfortable working in a more entrepreneurial “start‑up” environment. You will think strategically and commercially, but also be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into the execution phase for key projects.

The Day‑to‑Day
  • Be the strategic and commercial business owner to deliver a marketing strategy that super‑charges our retail footfall to our restaurants and re‑enforces consumer perception.
  • Work on below and above‑the‑line campaigns, managing creative agency partners and influencing stakeholders. From TV to POS, we’re looking for someone who wants accountability and can manage the full marketing mix.
  • Lead key national campaigns from defining phase to execution to create big ideas that will scale the fame of the brand over time.
  • Lead a cross‑functional squad across commercial finance, restaurant operations and food innovation to deliver the brand strategy.
  • Build strong relationships with Franchise partners to implement the brand strategy.
  • Identify the opportunities to grow revenue by driving relevance and distinctiveness to increase the awareness of the brand through a pipeline of core activations, limited time offers and value plays.
  • Leverage learnings and best practices from Taco Bell Global markets on key marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure integration across all marketing online programs.
Is this you?
  • At least 5 years of professional non‑internship marketing experience.
  • Worked your way up the marketing ladder in a QSR, retail, FMCG or food related industry, working on big brand building and commercial performance marketing initiatives.
  • Strong, relationship‑focused leader with a proven track record of inspiring and influencing cross‑functional partners, internal and external stakeholders to deliver results and foster collaboration and alignment.
  • Experience developing marketing strategies, building and executing marketing calendars across multiple and individual markets. Experience launching new products a plus.
  • Experience effectively managing all aspects of the creative process: brief writing, overseeing production and post‑production (television and photoshoots), managing creative agencies, and responsibility for timeline and budgets.
  • Data driven.
  • Big picture thinker with ability to turn strategy into action.
  • Flexible and eager to drive change.
  • Collaborative. A team player who is accountable and flexible.
  • Thrives in fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience managing brands or projects, creating marketing/agency briefs, and developing sell‑in decks.
  • Consulting or strategy experience building business cases and creating proposals to take our franchisee partners with you on the journey.
  • Restaurant or retail experience with an understanding of operational complexity.
  • Reputation for building strong partnerships across cross‑functional and outside teams, and having solid negotiation skills.
Work‑Hard, Play‑Hard
  • Hybrid work schedule.
  • Company and performance‑related bonus.
  • Generous pension with up to 11% company contribution.
  • Private healthcare with the option to increase to include family cover.
  • Annual holiday allowance starts at 25 days with the option to buy or sell up to 5 extra days per year. After 5 years’ service, annual holiday allowance increases to 30 days.
  • Competitive parental leave and flexible return to work options.
  • Wellbeing Reimbursement – A fund to claim back costs throughout the year that support your wellbeing such as vitamins subscriptions, language lessons, gym membership.
  • Flexible and voluntary benefits including Dental Insurance, Health Screening and Gym Discounts.
