Job summary

The Config Team is seeking a Senior SAP Project Manager based in the UK to lead planning and delivery of complex SAP and digital transformation projects for a diverse portfolio.

You will work with customers, internal consultants, and senior stakeholders, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining governance and quality standards.

The role offers a strategic leadership path, with opportunities to shape the PM capability and deliver SAP Supply Chain and S/4HANA programmes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading multiple SAP or large-scale digital transformation projects with end-to-end accountability.
• Experience delivering SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA projects within Supply Chain environments.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stream programmes with business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong commercial awareness with budgets, forecasts, risks, and contractual obligations.
• Experience in matrixed organisations and cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology; Activate certification is advantageous.
• Experience with pre-sales activities (RFPs, SoWs, quotes, customer assessments).
• Line management or mentoring experience.
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (MS Project, Jira, Confluence).
• Excellent planning, organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of SAP projects and digital transformation programmes for a portfolio of customers across industries.
• Provide strategic leadership across multiple workstreams with governance and commercial oversight.
• Collaborate with customers, internal consultants, delivery teams and senior stakeholders to realise value from SAP investments.
• Help shape and develop The Config Team's project management capability, supporting continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
