Job summary

The Config Team in UK-based offices seeks a Senior SAP Project Manager to lead planning and delivery of complex SAP and digital transformation projects for a diverse customer portfolio. You will oversee multiple workstreams, ensure timelines, budgets and quality targets are met, and work with senior stakeholders to realise business value from SAP investments.

You will shape project management capability, mentor teams, and participate in pre-sales activities.

Qualifications

Proven experience leading SAP or large-scale digital transformation projects with end-to-end accountability.
Strong experience delivering SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA projects in Supply Chain environments.
Experience managing complex, multi-stream programmes with business and technology stakeholders.
Strong commercial awareness with budgeting, forecasting, risks, and contractual obligations.
Experience in dynamic, matrixed organisations and cross-functional teams.
Solid governance, delivery methodologies, stakeholder management, and change control understanding.
Familiarity with SAP Activate; certification advantageous.
Involvement in pre-sales activities: RFPs, quotations, SoW, customer assessments.
Line management, mentoring or team leadership experience.
Proficiency with MS Project, Jira, and Confluence.
Excellent planning, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
Confident presenting to senior leadership and steering committees.
PM qualifications (PRINCE2, MSP, PMP, AgilePM) are desirable.
UK driving licence is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead planning and delivery of SAP, The Config Team software product, and digital transformation projects.
Provide strategic leadership across multiple workstreams with governance and commercial oversight.
Collaborate with customers, internal consultants, delivery teams, and senior stakeholders.
Shape and develop The Config Team's project management capability and delivery excellence.
Drive large-scale SAP Supply Chain and S/4HANA transformation programmes using SAP technologies and delivery methodologies.
