Job Description:

We're seeking a Freelance Consultant for UK Accounting Software Compliance.

At Tuscany Now & More, we are implementing a new accounting and booking system, Signature. As this software is new to the UK, we require a UK accounting compliance specialist to ensure it meets HMRC regulations, UK GAAP, VAT requirements, and overall UK tax compliance.

What we're looking for:

• Proven expertise in UK accounting standards and compliance (UK GAAP, VAT, HMRC regulations, Making Tax Digital).
• Experience evaluating accounting software for compliance with UK financial and tax legislation.
• Ability to assess software integration with UK accounting and reporting standards.
• Familiarity with hospitality or booking industry systems (a plus, not essential).
• Strong knowledge of Sage and experience supporting migrations from Sage to other platforms.
• Capability to perform a thorough compliance audit and deliver a detailed report.

What we need:

• A full evaluation of the software’s compliance with UK accounting standards.
• Recommendations for adjustments or workarounds, if required.
• Guidance on integrating the new system into our accounting workflow.
• Support during the migration from Sage to Signature.

This can be structured as a short-term consultancy or evolve into a longer-term collaboration.
