BenLabs Studio in Leeds is seeking a UI/UX Designer to turn strategy into flows, wireframes and polished interfaces. Editorial sensibility matters as much as usability in this role.

Work is a full-time, 40h/week commitment in a hybrid Leeds/remote setup. You will design for studio products and client engagements, collaborate with engineers on pixel-tight components, and contribute to a growing design system and token library.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing shipped digital products end-to-end.
• Editorial eye for typography, spacing, hierarchy and motion.
• Fluent in Figma; comfortable with tokens, auto-layout and component APIs.
• You articulate design decisions clearly, in writing and in critique.

Responsibilities

• Design product flows, wireframes and high-fidelity screens in Figma.
• Collaborate with engineers to hand off pixel-tight, tokenised components.
• Run lightweight discovery — audit, interview, sketch — before jumping into UI.
• Contribute to the studio's evolving component and pattern library.
